Be Truly Herd

East Yorkshire Equine Assisted Therapy C.I.C. is a warm, inclusive space where healing happens through connection, not conversation.

What do We Do?

At East Yorkshire Equine Assisted Therapy C.I.C., we offer a unique, powerful approach to emotional healing and personal growth through Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT). This therapeutic method involves guided interactions between people and horses, creating a safe and calming space where individuals can explore emotions, build confidence, and overcome
challenges.

Unlike traditional talk therapy, Equine Assisted Therapy focuses on non-verbal communication, body language, and building relationships—making it especially effective for children, young people, and adults who may find it difficult to express themselves.

Why Horses?

Horses are highly intuitive animals that respond to human emotions with honesty and sensitivity. They mirror our feelings, offering immediate, non-judgmental feedback. Working alongside our horses helps clients

  • Develop emotional awareness
  • Build trust and self-confidence
  • Improve communication and boundaries
  • Manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress
  • Feel seen, heard, and understood—without needing to say a word

Who’s It For?

Our sessions are tailored for people of all ages and backgrounds, including those facing:

  • Anxiety or depression
  • PTSD or trauma
  • Autism or additional needs
  • Bereavement, low self-esteem, or emotional dysregulation
  • Life transitions or personal struggles

You don’t need any horse experience to take part—just an open mind and a willingness to connect.
